Essential Oils Used in Aromatherapy (A-C)

Organic Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils

Healingscents provides over 50 therapeutic grade essential oils. From our Anise Star oil and Vanilla oil to our Sandalwood oil and Chamomile oil (we have German, Roman and Moroc Chamomile oils), we guarantee that all Healingscents aromatherapy oils are pure and of high quality. Just as with our aromatherapy mineral bath, our peppermint foot cream and every other aromatherapy skin care product we offer, our essential oils are always ethically sourced, animal friendly and organically grown whenever possible. Healingscents essential oils are versatile in use and are beneficial for both mind and body.

  • When absorbed through the skin, Helichrysum oil, Roman Chamomile oil and our other essential oils will strenghten living tissue, ease pain and discomfort, improve skin quality and contribute to overall health.

  • When inhaled, they can lift your spirits, ease congestion, fight insomnia and balance emotions.

Healingscents combines bath salts and herbal infusions with essential oils to develop quality skin moisturizers and massage oil products to increase the positive effects of essential oils. We offer a peppermint foot cream and heavenly body creams for therapeutic skin care. Our facial toner utilizes neroli and lavender, and other healing products such as sandalwood oil and other oils. These ingredients will demonstrate the difference that aromatherapy essential oils make when you use them on your skin as body and bath oils, and in your aromatherapy diffuser.

Please check our "New" Healingscents Aromatherapy Guide to learn more on how to get the best results from Essential Oils.

Benzoin – pourable oil is the closest essential oil to vanilla with it's vanilla-like sweet and warm aroma. It is aften used in place of vanilla oil.

Place the essential oil of Benzoin in a body cream, apply to the affected area, and enjoy the therapeutic effects. It effectively protects chapped skin, heals itching, dermatitis, redness and irritation, and improves skin elasticity. It can be added to the bath as well.

Because Benzoin is a “fixative” it is effective in popourri. (Fixatives keep or fix the scent longer and enhance the potpourri's fragrance) See Patchouli.

Are you feeling under the weather with a cold or flu? Try Benzoin with steam inhalation.

Do you have a lung or sinus infection? Try a massage oil for a chest rub.

Do you feel stressed? Mix Benzoin with a carrier oil and massage to get rid of that tense feeling. Stiff and sore muscles will also be relieved.
